identity
The red that melts stories.
“Arzilla” isn’t just the name of our company and the stream that runs through these lands: in the Pesaro dialect, it describes someone lively, energetic, and ready to spring forward.
The Arzillo Rosso embodies this spirit: a natural red wine born between Pesaro and Fano, capable of combining the strength of the Marche region with a lively, frank and profoundly vital drink.

winemaking
Sangiovese e Montepulciano: the winemaking of theArzillo Rosso
L'Arzillo Rosso it is the result of a territorial blend of grapes Sangiovese e Montepulciano, organically grown Santa Maria dell'ArzillaThe harvest is done manually in crates, respecting the ripening times of each vine.
In the cellar, fermentation begins spontaneously thanks to the indigenous yeasts and takes place in concrete tanks. This material allows for a slow and steady maturation of the wine, preserving its freshness and fruitiness without the use of additives.
Like every red of Agricola Arzilla, it is not filtered or clarified to keep its complexity intact.

TASTING NOTES
Sensory characteristics of theArzillo Rosso design
To the eye it presents a lively ruby red colour, with the typical light haze of the unfiltered artisanal wines.
On the nose it releases intense aromas of berries, morello cherry and light spicy notes typical of the Pesaro terroir.
On the palate it is "arzillo": a fresh and dynamic attack followed by a balanced structure and silky tannins.
The finish is clean, with a return of red fruits that immediately invites a second sip.
How to pair our red wine from the Marche region

Natural wines and organic viticulture between Pesaro and Fano
Agricola Arzilla
Our roots are in the Marche, between the hills of Pesaro and Fano near theCa' Dorale FarmhouseHere we look after 7,5 hectares of organic vineyards, where native vines such as Sangiovese, Bianchello (Biancame), Fiano e Montepulciano grow in harmony with the local ecosystem.
The desire to transform these grapes into vibrant, transparent wines found its home along the Arzilla River valley, in the ancient Provincial Agricultural Consortium. It is here that the winery was born. Agricola Arzilla, led by a team of young enthusiasts with the aim of producing a authentic natural wine, pure expression of the Marche region.
We believe in an ethical agricultural approach, whose philosophy of naturalness and quality is also reflected in the historic centre of Pesaro at thewine shop Solo Buon Vino: not just a simple shop, but a point of reference for those who are looking for conscious drinking and wish to discover the essence of craftsmanship Marche.
